Today's morning when I woke up, suddenly I got this "Warning" message has posted by a friend on my Facebook wall reffering to "PHONE NUMBERS OF ALL is now on Facebook being published". Then I found too some of friends got several messages too, similar like them that circulating on news feed. Here's the complete messages:

Warning to everyone: PHONE NUMBERS OF ALL is now on Facebook! Go to the top right of the screen, click on Account, then click on Edit Friends, go left on the screen and click on Contacts. All phone numbers are published. Please repost this on your status, so your friends can remove their numbers and thus prevent abuse.

EVERYONE'S PHONE NUMBERS ARE NOW ON FACEBOOK!! Mobile phones too! Go to top right of your screen, click Account then Edit Friends. Go to left side of your screen, click Phonebook. Everyone's phone numbers are now published. Please repost to let your friends know this is happening so they can remove their numbers. (Privacy Settings-Phone-Customize-Only ME)

ATTENTION EVERYONE: PHONE NUMBERS sync'd from cellphones are now on Facebook! No joke - go to the top right of the screen, click on Account, then click on Edit Friends, go left on the screen & click on Contacts. All cell numbers are published. Re-post this on your Status, so your friends can remove their numbers to prevent abuse.
As you can see from above those messages contains an "alert" to all Facebook users that says, every member of Facebook's phone numbers have now been published to the public and also it's asks users to removing the phone numbers. However these "warnings" are over alarmist, it's because we all have known that phone numbers or phonebook feature is not something new, it's been there for a years. And you knew that it's has already there to displays on your Facebook info section even at the first time since you've registered your Facebook account. You have fully control of your phone numbers and also another info(s) from being published by setting-up your Facebook account via "privacy" Setting. Its all up to you, are you allowing them for being published or to keep it privat. As long as you keep them in privat, all of your phone numbers and data(s) won't be shared to public not even indexed by search engines. So, reposting these warnings won't help your friends, instead of make them panic and confused.

Rumors claiming that your phone contacts are visible to everyone on Facebook are false. Our Contacts list, formerly called Phonebook, has existed for a long time. The phone numbers listed there were either added by your friends themselves and made visible to you, or you have previously synced your phone contacts with Facebook. Just like on your phone, only you can see these numbers.
